The Amazon Business Prime American Express Card has some flaws worth noting.
The Amazon Business Prime American Express Card is designed with Amazon Prime members in mind. If you're not an Amazon Prime member, you'll earn fewer rewards with this card. While this card has no annual fee, business Prime memberships begin at $69 per year. If you want to maximize the reward potential of this card, your best bet is to be an Amazon Prime member.
Cardholders must choose whether to earn rewards or take advantage of no-interest payment terms for eligible purchases. Unfortunately, you can't do both.
If you choose to use the 60- or 90-day no-interest payment terms, you'll want to keep in mind that this is only available for eligible Amazon Business, AWS, Amazon.com, and Whole Foods Market purchases. Terms apply. What's more, the time frame is short.
If you need more time to pay off costly business expenses, there are 0% intro APR credit cards with much longer terms -- many offer an intro APR for 15 to 18 months.
You can redeem points earned with the Amazon Business Prime American Express Card in one of two ways. You can use points to shop at Amazon.com and Amazon Business, or you can apply points toward a purchase in the form of a statement credit.
If you're looking for a rewards credit card with more flexible redemption options, you'll want to look elsewhere.
This credit card is intended for consumers with good to excellent credit. A FICO® Score of 670 is recommended when applying for the Amazon Business Prime American Express Card. It's possible to get approved with a lower score or be denied with a higher credit score.
You need a business to apply for this credit card, but various business types qualify. As an example, entrepreneurs, freelancers, and small business owners may be eligible for a business credit card.

If that's the case, other business credit cards may work better for your needs.
At Motley Fool Money, we rate credit cards on a five-star scale (1 = poor, 5 = best). Our rating criteria includes rewards rates, welcome bonuses, fees, and perks like travel credits and 0% intro APR offers to evaluate our ratings.
We combine these factors with an evaluation of brand reputation and customer satisfaction to ensure you're getting the best card recommendations. Learn more about how Motley Fool Money rates credit cards.
This credit card is open to all eligible business owners, whether you're an Amazon Prime member or not. However, to maximize your rewards you'll want to be an Amazon Prime member as well.
If you can pay off the purchase by the payment due date, the 5% cash back puts extra money in your pocket. But if you need longer to pay off a larger purchase, the 60- or 90-day payment terms may be a more sensible option.
