This credit card is a good fit for: Frequent Wyndham hotel guests who want to maximize their rewards.
The Wyndham Rewards Earner® Plus is a more feature-packed rewards credit card, and comes with a $75 annual fee. For starters, the reward earning rate is significantly higher than the base card, earning 6X points per $1 on Hotels by Wyndham and gas, and 4X points per $1 on most dining and grocery purchases. And the welcome offer is higher: 100,000 bonus points after spending $2,000 in the first six months.
Beyond the rewards program, there are some valuable benefits. Cardholders automatically receive Platinum elite status, which adds perks like early check-in and rental car upgrades. It has the same 7,500 point anniversary bonus as the base card, but there's no spending requirement -- you'll get it every year upon paying the card's annual fee, and this perk alone can justify paying the $75. The Wyndham Rewards Earner® Plus also has the same hotel and point redemption discounts, and also offers a 0% for 15 billing cycles on balance transfers made within 45 days of account opening.
