As an avid follower of the stock market from a young age, Jake Lerch's passion for investing goes back to when looking up a stock quote required -- gasp -- purchasing a newspaper. Jake worked for 12 years at Credit Suisse in a variety of roles before leaving to pursue writing. When he isn't researching stocks, you can find him strumming a guitar, watching his beloved Carolina Hurricanes, or walking his dog. A native of North Carolina, he resides there with his wife and two kids.
