The firm is involved in transforming corn, tapioca, potatoes, plant-based stevia, grains, fruits, gums, and vegetables into value-added ingredients and biomaterials for the food, beverage, brewing, and other industries. It operates through the following geographical segments: North America, South America, Asia-Pacific, and Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA). The North America segment includes businesses in the United States, Mexico, and Canada. The South America segment refers to the businesses in Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, and Uruguay. The Asia-Pacific segment consists of businesses in South Korea, Thailand, China, Australia, Japan, New Zealand, Indonesia, Singapore, Philippines, Malaysia, India, and Vietnam.
